A) Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Membrane Elements

B) Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Membrane Elements

C) Nanofiltration (NF) Elements

Nanofiltration is mainly applied in drinking water purification process steps, such as water softening, decolouring and micro pollutant removal. During industrial processes Nano filtration is applied for the removal of specific components, such as colouring agents. It is a pressure related process, during which separation takes place, based on molecule size.
The technique is mainly applied for the removal of organic substances, such as micro pollutants and multivalent ions. Nanofiltration elements have a moderate retention for univalent salts.

Other applications of Nano filtration are:

- The removal of pesticides from groundwater
- The removal of heavy metals from wastewater
- Water softening
- Nitrates removal

D) Ultrafiltration (UF) Elements

Ultrafiltration SIDcap elements are used to treat surface water, ground water, seawater and waste water as either primary treatment or as pretreatment to reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF). It can remove colloids, suspended solids, bacteria and viruses.
SIDcap PVDF element modules can be used to purify well and surface water for drinking applications, to filter sewage and waste water for water recycle, and to treat surface or sea water for RO and NF systems.

E) Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Membrane Elements

SIDMBR elements are used for MBR applications to treat any effluent (sewage or industrial source) with a significant biological activity. Compared to conventional activated sludge treatment, MBR produces high quality permeate water suitable for RO treatment and reduces footprint eliminating sedimentation tank and operating at higher MLSS.
SIDMBR Hollow Fiber Submerged MBR ELEMENT MODULES can be used to waste water treatment by element bioreactor process, waste water treatment by enhanced bioreactor process, waste water recovery from waste water and enhance drinking water treatment.
